I was really pleased to find out that one of my summer brides Anna made the front cover of Your Bristol & Somerset Wedding Magazine this month! I knew immediately after taking these photos of Anna that she would make an amazing cover girl and I was proved right 
On Thursday I had the pleasure of shooting with my friend and fellow wedding photographer Sarah Vivienne at Ashley and Roberta’s lovely celebrations at Notley Abbey near Aylesbury. It also gave me a great excuse to stay overnight and see my baby cousin Philip who lives with my Aunt and Uncle five minutes down the road from the venue!
I helped Sarah by doing candid photography of the guests and detail shots while she was the main photographer for the day. I really enjoy occasionally shooting with other photographers when one of us has a particularly long or big wedding to cover. It’s nice to have someone to chat to and it’s also interesting watching how other photographers work!
I loved all the special details – it really was a gorgeous wedding, very elegant! I especially loved the whiskey favours for the guys, the cath Kidson bath soaps for the girls, the silver candlesticks against beautiful flower arrangements and the lovely nameplaces.
